The Japanese Soldiers
During WWII the Japanese army had rights but also some responsibilities. One of their main responsibilities was to protect their country from being attacked and taken down. For example they had to fight against all the countries that were apposing them so that their country was destroyed and taken over. Another responsibility was that they had to stay loyal to their country because if they were betraying Japan itself Japan would have had to surrender in the war much earlier. Now out of the loyal people their were most likely spies but not enough to bring Japan down. The soldiers also had many rights. One right was to get paid for there work. Another was to not to surrender to the enemy. In fact soldiers did not have the right to surrender, it was so looked downed upon that most Japanese felt death was preferable to surrender. Soldiers did not have right to not follow orders nor even complain about the bad conditions. Overall, the soldiers had many responsibilities for have such few rights in return.
