The Japanese Emperor
Emperor Hirohito had many rights and responsibilities during WWII. One right that the emperor did have was to give permission to start war against a country. For example Japan attacked the United States of America under the consent of emperor Hirohito. Another right that Hirohito had was that he was allowed to declare their loss or he other words he had permission to surrender if it seemed fit. The Emperor was also the a religious leader for the Shinto Religion and he used this to his advantage by creating a cult of fanatics leading to the kamikaze bombers. Another responsibility of the Emperor was to better his country, for instance, when Hirohito came into power, Japan was already the 9th largest economy on Earth but when his reign ended he made Japan the second largest economy. A responsibility was to follow the Constitution of the Empire of Japan, the legal document for the laws of the Japanese Empire's politicians and citizens. Lastly it is a responsibility of the Emperor to protect his citizens for instance Emperor Hirohito had to surrender to the Allies to protect his citizens and cause less death. In conclusion the Emperor was a very important man with many rights and responsibilities.
